Rondé
Rondé is a Dutch indie pop band. In 2015 the group won the 3FM Serious Talent Award
Rondé was created in the spring of 2014 from a school assignment from the Herman Brood Academy. In April the band took part in “Herman Brood Academie on Tour”, a short tour of various Dutch pop venues. In September 2014, the group was a participant in the Popronde as OOR Talent.
In October 2014, Rondé’s single Run became a Megahit on NPO 3FM and the group was declared 3FM Serious Talent.

singer Rikki Borgelt had surgery on her vocal cords.
In April the band won the 3FM Serious Talent Award, a few days later We Are One became Rondé’s second Megahit on NPO 3FM. The debut album of the same name, Rondé, was released on January 13, 2017. That year, Rondé also performed on the main stage of the Zwarte Cross festival.
The second album, entitled Flourish, was released on March 8, 2019. The album Flourish contains twelve songs, including NPO 3FM Megahit and NPO Radio 2 TopSong Calling.
On August 4, 2019, they were the support act for James Bay.
On Saturday, September 7, 2019, Rondé performed at the Live on the Beach festival in Scheveningen. The band Keane, among others, could also be seen here.
The single Get to You was released in 2020 and a year later Hard to Say Goodbye followed, which was rewarded with the Hard Disk and Favorite Track from Radio 538 in August 2021. This single reached several charts and reached the number 1 position in both the public hit list Mega Top 30 on NPO 3FM and in the “100%NL Top 20”.
On April 5, 2022, Rondé performed in the Ziggo Dome with Bastille. On Saturday evening, December 10 that year, Rondé performed on the BNNVARA television program Even tot hier on NPO 1, where they performed the song This is how it always goes live. A parody on the subject of recent political policy, to the music of their hit single Hard to Say Goodbye.
Rondé performed for the first time at Pinkpop on June 17, 2023, 16 years after singer Rikki Borgelt made her first visit here.
